Q. Why are my authorizations still active when they expired weeks ago?
A. Because Covansys allows up to 60-days from the date of service to submit the initial claim and up to 180 days for any re-submittals the system is set to keep authorizations active for 70-days from their end or discontinued date. The system has no way of knowing when you have completed all your billing for a client. For this reason you can use the End Now link to make an authorization inactive when you know you have completed billing for the authorization.
